Egypt & Exodus · In the line to Jesus

Nahshon

Son of Amminadab and leader of the tribe of Judah during the wilderness wanderings under Moses. Nahshon was the first tribal leader to bring offerings at the dedication of the tabernacle, and Jewish tradition credits him with being the first to step into the Red Sea before it parted. His prominent role in the Exodus generation highlights the growing importance of Judah’s tribe in Israel’s story.
