What Today's Light is

Most verse-of-the-day apps give you a verse and leave. A line of Scripture with no context is a fortune cookie — nice on the screen, gone by the time you've locked the phone.

Today's Light is five cards instead of one, and they take about three minutes to walk through:

1. The verse — one passage, set to be read rather than skimmed.
2. What it means — the context it came from and what it's actually saying.
3. How it lands today — where this touches an ordinary Tuesday.
4. A question — something to sit with rather than answer quickly.
5. A prayer — written from the verse, to close it.

The verse changes every morning and is drawn from a curated year of passages — not randomly sampled, and not the same twelve comfort verses on rotation.
