The Gospel ends not with sorrow but with praise. When you truly encounter the risen Jesus, worship becomes the most natural response.
Luke closes his Gospel with a picture of the disciples in constant, joyful worship.
That's how Luke's story ends — not with an ending at all, but with a community full of hope, full of praise, and waiting for what God would do next.
The disciples remain continually (Greek: dia pantos, 'through all time') in the temple, blessing and praising God.
Luke's Gospel ends where it began — in the Jerusalem temple (cf. Luke 1:8-9). This inclusio frames the entire narrative as a movement from priestly service to universal praise.
