Signs Before the End

Jesus says, 'I'm telling you the truth: this poor widow has given more than all the rest combined.' Two tiny coins, and she outgave everyone.
Jesus doesn't just say she gave a lot 'for her.' He says she gave more than everyone else. Period. God measures gifts by what they cost you, not by what they're worth.
Jesus makes a stunning declaration that redefines how giving is measured.
Every person who gave big money that day thought they were the generous ones. Jesus says the woman with two copper coins beat them all. It's not about the amount — it's about the sacrifice.
Jesus declares with solemn authority ('Truly I tell you') that this poor widow has given more (pleion) than all the others combined. This is an absolute evaluation, not a proportional compliment — in God's economy, she gave the most.
The superlative comparison (pleion pantōn) is radical: her two coins exceed the total of all other gifts. Jesus establishes a divine accounting system where sacrifice, not amount, determines value.
Jesus pronounces a solemn evaluation of the widow's offering, declaring it the greatest of all contributions.
Jesus speaks and redefines generosity forever. Two copper coins outweigh all the gold in the treasury. The math doesn't work — unless you're counting something other than money.
