Then He told His disciples, 'There are so many people ready to hear, but so few people to reach them.'
Jesus was overwhelmed by the need and honest about the shortage of workers. He needed help.

This is the moment Jesus begins to multiply His ministry by inviting others to join Him in the work.
Jesus uses a harvest metaphor: the therismos (harvest) is abundant but the ergatai (workers/laborers) are few, describing the spiritual opportunity and the insufficient workforce.
The harvest image draws on prophetic tradition (Joel 3:13) but here refers to the gathering of people into God's kingdom rather than judgment.
