Jesus delivers the punchline, and it lands differently now.
After the whole story, this line hits different. God's generosity doesn't follow your scoreboard.
Jesus concludes with the reversal saying from 19:30, now in inverted order: 'the last will be first, and the first will be last' — forming an inclusio around the entire parable.
The chiastic structure (19:30 / 20:16) brackets the parable as an illustration of kingdom reversal, where grace supersedes merit.
Jesus delivers the parable's moral, echoing and inverting the saying from 19:30.
