The disciples in the boat worshiped Jesus and declared, 'Truly You are the Son of God!' The storm taught them something no calm day ever could.
Sometimes it takes a storm for you to truly see who Jesus is. The hardest moments can produce the deepest worship.

Everything that happened this night leads to this confession. Through fear, danger, and miraculous rescue, the disciples arrive at a deeper understanding of Jesus.
The disciples' prosekynēsan (worshiped) and confession alēthōs theou huios ei ('truly You are the Son of God') represents a significant christological advance in Matthew's narrative. This is the first corporate confession of Jesus' divine sonship.
The title huios theou (Son of God) moves beyond messianic categories to ontological divine identity. This confession anticipates Peter's declaration at Caesarea Philippi (16:16).
