Water Into Wine

His mother turned to the servants and said, 'Whatever He tells you to do, do it.'
This is perhaps the best advice anyone has ever given: whatever Jesus says, do it. No questions, no hesitation — just obedience.
Mary gives the servants — and you — the simplest and best instruction possible.
She didn't argue with Jesus or explain the problem further. She just told the servants to listen and obey. That's faith: trusting that Jesus knows what He's doing, even when you don't understand.
Despite Jesus' seemingly dismissive response, Mary instructs the servants, 'Do whatever He tells you' (Greek: hoti an legē hymin poiēsate).
Mary's instruction echoes Pharaoh's command to Egypt regarding Joseph: 'Go to Joseph; whatever he says to you, do' (Genesis 41:55). Her faith persists despite the apparent rebuff.
Mary instructs the servants to obey Jesus completely.
Mary's faith is undeterred by Jesus' response. Her words to the servants constitute some of the best spiritual advice in Scripture: total obedience to whatever Jesus says.
3When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.”
4“Woman, what is that to you and to Me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”
6Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification. Each could hold from twenty to thirty gallons.
7Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.”
