The sixth son of Jacob, born to Bilhah, Rachel’s handmaid. Jacob blessed Naphtali as ‘a doe set free that bears beautiful fawns,’ suggesting grace and freedom. His tribe settled in the fertile region of northern Galilee—the very area where Jesus would later conduct much of His earthly ministry.
