The wife of King Saul and mother of his children, including Jonathan and Michal. She was the daughter of Ahimaaz. While Scripture mentions her only briefly, she was the queen consort during Israel's first monarchy and the mother of the courageous Jonathan, whose friendship with David became legendary.
