Why it's here

Paul is explaining his missionary strategy. He's not territorial or competitive. He's intentionally going to places where no one else has gone, where no church exists. He sees himself as a pioneer, not a consolidator.

18I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obedience by word and deed,
