The God of Vengeance

Justice will be restored—God will set things right—and those whose hearts are aligned with Him will naturally follow that righteous judgment.
Eventually, the moral order will be fixed. Righteousness will be honored. And the upright won't resist it; they'll follow it eagerly because it's what they love and seek anyway.
The psalmist, prophesying about the future God will bring.
This anticipates the final judgment and the renewal of all things, when God's justice is fully revealed and nobody questions it anymore. The righteous will recognize it immediately as true.
The psalmist affirms that righteous judgment will be restored as the foundational principle of society, and those of integrity will align themselves with it.
'Judgment will again be righteous' (וּמִשְׁפָּט יִהְיֶה לַצְּדָקָה, u-mishpat yihyeh latzedakah) employs the construction where צְדָקָה (tzedakah, righteousness/justice) becomes the standard by which judgment operates. The phrase 'all the upright in heart' (וְכׇל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵב, v'chol yisrei-lev) specifies those whose inner orientation is toward justice. The implication is that divine judgment, once restored, will naturally attract the allegiance of the righteous—they will 'follow' (יִדְרְכוּ, yidrekhu) after it, suggesting both pursuit and conformity.
The psalmist pronounces an eschatological assurance: the ultimate vindication of the righteous order.
This reflects the prophetic vision of the messianic age when 'righteousness will be the belt around his waist' (Isaiah 11:5). It also anticipates the Revelation vision where God's justice is fully realized (Revelation 19-20).
