The qualification 'to all who call upon Him in truth' (לְכָל־קֹרְאָיו בֶאֱמֶת, le-khol-qore'av be-emet) introduces a crucial condition: not ceremonial invocation but ἀληθείᾳ (aletheia—authenticity, alignment with reality). The Church Fathers (particularly Gregory of Nyssa) emphasize how this 'truth' involves not merely intellectual assent but existential alignment: calling upon God in truth means acknowledging His sovereignty and one's own need.
