Everywhere on earth, from sunrise to sunset, God's name is being praised — His reputation extends across the whole world.
This verse paints a geographic picture of God's fame. From the eastern horizons where the sun rises to the western horizons where it sets, praise reaches everywhere the light reaches. For ancient Israel, this was a way of saying God's glory isn't confined to Jerusalem or one nation — it's universal and cosmic in scope.
