This person won't be toppled by circumstances or forgotten by history—there's a stability and significance to a righteous life that outlasts trouble and outlasts time itself.
The psalmist is making a countercultural claim for people who might have felt invisible or vulnerable. In their world, stability meant security from enemies, from poverty, from being erased from memory. To hear that righteousness produces this kind of permanence would be profoundly encouraging.

The psalmist employs prophetic-style absolute assertion, using what grammarians call the prophetic perfect—speaking of future stability as though already accomplished.
This echoes the patriarchal promises of 'a name that will not be forgotten' and anticipates New Testament claims about inheriting eternal life through covenant faithfulness.
