Wealth (עֹשֶׁר, osher) functions as the external manifestation of internal wisdom. Conversely, the fool's עָמָל (amal, labor/effort) becomes itself equivalent to אִוֶּלֶת (ivelet, folly)—there is no separation between their efforts and their futility.
