As those men were leaving, someone brought a man to Jesus who couldn't speak because of a demon.
Another person in desperate need, and another chance for Jesus to show His power over evil.

The miracles keep coming because the need keeps coming, and Jesus never turns anyone away.
As they depart, a kophos (mute/deaf) man possessed by a daimonion (demon) is brought to Jesus, adding another category of affliction to the miracle series.
This brief miracle account is the ninth in Matthew's series of ten miracles (chapters 8-9), demonstrating comprehensive authority.

33And when the demon had been driven out, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”
34But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that He drives out demons.”
