Jesus got back in the boat, crossed the lake, and returned to His home base in Capernaum.
After being asked to leave by the Gadarenes, Jesus quietly goes back to where He's welcomed.

Jesus doesn't force Himself on anyone. When rejected, He simply moves to where people are ready.
Jesus returns by boat to 'His own town' (idian polin), identified as Capernaum, His adopted base of operations in Galilee.
After the Gadarene rejection, Jesus returns to familiar territory where He has an established ministry presence.

2Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”
3On seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
