Jesus doesn't play their game. Instead, He tells them straight out: you're wrong, and the reason is that you don't really know your Bible or how powerful God is.
Rather than getting trapped in their clever scenario, Jesus flips the tables. He shows that their whole argument is built on a shaky foundation.

Imagine the shock on their faces. They expected Jesus to struggle with their riddle, but He calmly tells them they've been wrong about the basics all along.
