Who Do You Say I Am?

Jesus told His disciples, 'My heart goes out to these people — they've been here three days with nothing to eat.' His compassion was genuine and deep.
Three days is a long time to go without food. These people were so hungry for what Jesus offered that they forgot to eat, and Jesus noticed.
Jesus speaks from the heart about the crowd's need.
You can hear the tenderness in Jesus' voice. He wasn't annoyed by the logistics — He was moved by their faithfulness and concerned for their wellbeing.
Jesus expresses splanchnizomai (deep visceral compassion) — the same term used before the feeding of the five thousand. Three days with no food indicates the crowd's extraordinary devotion.
