Then Jesus made an incredible promise: 'Wherever the gospel is preached in the whole world, what she did will be told in memory of her.'
And here we are, thousands of years later, still telling her story — exactly as Jesus said we would. Her act of love echoes through history.

She probably never imagined that her single act of devotion would be known by billions of people across thousands of years. But Jesus knew.
Jesus makes an extraordinary promise: wherever the gospel (euangelion) is proclaimed worldwide, this woman's act will be memorialized — linking her story inseparably to the gospel narrative itself.
This is one of the few instances where Jesus explicitly promises that a specific person's deed will be remembered in perpetuity, elevating her act to canonical significance.
