Jesus has much to say and judge concerning them, but defers to the One who sent Him, who is alēthēs (truthful/reliable), and Jesus transmits to the world (kosmos) only what He has heard (ēkousa) from Him.

Jesus restrains His judgment, choosing faithful transmission of the Father's words over exercising His own prerogative to condemn. His role as the Father's spokesman takes priority over His role as judge.
